Movie Review Your Highness.

Went to go see Your Highness over the weekend.

Now I didn't go into this expecting much. Considering that its main comic relief was the back up to Will Ferrel in land of the lost and the only other strong point is the very brief scene with Natalie Portman in a metal bikini. So knowing this you kinda have give it some room to grow on you. By that I mean go see it with friends that would laugh at a farts and pot head movie jokes and your set. Even with that caveat I cant really recomend the shelling out of 10 dollars for a movie ticket to see this. Ive gotten better bang for my buck recently at the theaters. IE: battle: Los Angles, Rango.

Now I will admit there are some funny parts to this movie and i will not ruin any jokes but all the humor does tend to happen not during the planned times where the jokes are seen to be set up for the audience but in the short quick comments in between them. Kind of like a comedy assassin! like oh ya there is another middle ages sheep joke....OH wait they just said that ha ha I'm laughing now....

But this dude Danny McBride, he was funny as a back up partner to the always (well mostly always) funny Will Ferrell in Land of the Lost. Now that was a sleeper hit. Not a lot of popularity but worth every penny of a rental or in these days a net-flix-er-thingy? But I just don't think he has what it takes to carry this movie through.

So medium humor, and no real comedy genius to speak of whats left? How about some of this!

and some of this!

Yup Natalie Portman (in a thong) and Zooey however you say her last name. They are solid and alone carry the acting in this movie. Man you see old princess Amidala in this and you wonder why she was reduced to a crying little weeny in the prequels. She is pretty awesome as far as a generic bow and arrow character from Dungeons and Dragons type of world goes. Ans yes she does go for a swim in this movie metal thong and all. Can you say rust wedgie!

Over all not a bad movie especially after a couple of beers or what have you, but not worth the 10 the ten dollars over some of the other movies that are out now that I listed above. This one is sure to hit the net flix soon so scope it out then. As all other movie reviews do guess I have to make up some kind of rating system....mmm how about 2 out of 5 monster trophies! and if you watch the movie you'll understand what that means.

Thanks for Reading!
The kishpacos!
